Questions to ask before selecting your roofer:

1.  Are they licensed?   The state of California requires a contractor to be licensed to perform ANY type of work on a home or any job.  To find out if they are licensed visit the Contractors State License Board’s website at http://www.cslb.ca.gov/.  Enter the contractors name or license number for current and up to-date information.

2.  Do they have Workman's Compensation Insurance?   The state of California also requires all contractors to carry Workman’s Compensation Insurance. The Contractors State License Board website also shows whether this insurance is current and active. If they do not have Workman’s Compensation Insurance, not only are they outside the law, but the homeowner/building owner may be responsible for any injuries and damages.

3.  Do they have valid general liability insurance?   Always ask for current certificates of general liability insurance.

4.  Do they have any referrals?   Always ask for a list of names or addresses of past clients to see their work.

5.  Do they have any experience?   Galla-Rini Roofing has 25 continous years experience. There are a lot of contractors out there that claim to have knowledge on roofing. Look out!! The simplest mistake can cost you lots of money.

6.  Do they warrantee their work?   Galla-Rini Roofing is certified by GAF and we offer warrantees backed by the manufacturer. (Please inquire for pricing.)

Before selecting your roofer, remember to ask:

Is their license current?

Do they have valid Worker’s Compensation Insurance?

Do they have valid general liability insurance?

Are they a “C39 Roofing” class contractor?

Are their any complaints against their license?
